As
part of our community outreach,
Liberty Fire Co. No. 1 participated in the Make A Wish Truck
Convoy on May 4, 2008. The convoy of 206 trucks traveled
through Adams County each with a special child on board.
Many Adams County citizens were out on their front lawns, on the
sides of roads and on bridge overpasses to wave to the kids.
On board Engine 11-2 was our very special friend Hayden Dell.
Our fire company was very pleased to host Hayden and his family
for this event. |

Looks like Hayden is having a great time on his
special day. His goal in April 2009 is to knock on Mickey
and Minnie's Door at Disney World. |

"I need to

in East Berlin. Brad, Sam, and Keith you guys ROCK!!!!
Hayden had a great time, as did the rest of us. He went to bed
with a huge smile on his face. Thank you for taking such good
care of us and for being so kind."
